These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Description.me website, applications and services (collectively, the “Service”). Please read these terms carefully before using the Service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including profile information, images, videos and documents. You grant us a limited license to host, display and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Fees are billed through our payment processor, Paddle, and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings.

7. Intellectual property

Description.me and its branding, logos, software and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer our software except as expressly permitted by law.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Description.me and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use after the changes constitutes acceptance.
